5/7 INTERRUPTIBLE RATE

AVAILABILITY

The 5/7 Interruptible Rate is a rate option available for loads which would be under monthly load control without the 5/7 Interruptible Rate.

TYPE OF SERVICE

Single or Multi-Phase, 60 cycle, at available secondary voltage.

MONTHLY RATE

Service Charge $76.00

Months of March, April, May, September, and October

Demand Charge @ None

Energy Charge @ $0.0700 per kWh

Months of June, July, August, November, December, January and February

Demand Charge @ $18.65 per KW

Energy Charge @ $0.0700 per kWh

Penalties for non-control due to mechanical failure:

  1. Pay regular demand charge for first two failures in 24 month rolling timeframe.
  2. After two failures in 24 month rolling timeframe, demand charge doubles.

Consumer will pay for one half of the meter costs and will furnish telephone line for communication with meter.

BILLING DEMAND

The monthly demand charge will be based on the actual demand of the customer over a 30 minute period coincident with East River Electric Power Cooperative, Inc.’s, monthly 30 minute peak.

MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE

The minimum monthly charge shall be $76.00 plus sales tax.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

The above charges are net.  Payment of the bill is due ten days after the bill is printed and sent.  All accounts not paid by due date shall pay one and one-half percent late charge on the unpaid balance of the account, minimum penalty of one dollar ($1.00).

Any service that is disconnected for less than 12 months, before the account is reconnected, the member will need to pay the service charges for the months the service is inactive plus a reconnect fee before the service will be reconnected
