Electrician Charges
Objective:
To establish the charges for labor, equipment, and material associated with work done by the Cooperative's electrical department.
Policy:
- Labor Charges:
- Service Calls:
- Regular Hours: Master or Journeyman electrician - $45.00 per hour - electrician's helper - $37.50
- After Hours: Master or Journeyman electician - $60.00 per hour - electrician's helper - $45.00
- Hours are billed from the time the crew leaves the office until they return.
- Material:
- Inventory items will be marked up by using the following schedule:
- Cost of item 0 ‑ $10. markup 100%
- Cost of item $10.01 ‑ $20. markup 80%
- Cost of item $20.01 ‑ $100. markup 60%
- Items over $100.01 ‑ markup 45%
- Markup on wire will be 50%.
- Generators will be marked up 5%.
- Water heaters and electric heating equipment will be marked up 20%.
- Trenching Charges:
- $1.00 per foot plus man hours to run trencher.
D. Mileage:
1. $.40 (forty) cents per mile.
Responsibility:
- The Manager and department heads are responsible for the administration of this policy.
- The Board of Directors is responsible for any changes in or revisions of this policy.
